Caitlin entered St. Andrew’s School in Barrington as a shy and quiet freshman who rarely raised her hand in class. Four years later, after receiving the vote of her fellow classmates, Caitlin took the stage to deliver the Senior Address at her graduation. Her advisor was filled with emotion as she introduced Caitlin, remarking how she overcame hardships and obstacles, growing into the accomplished and driven young woman she is today. The close-knit community and individualized learning approach at St. Andrew’s School empowered Caitlin to grow to her full potential. Remarkably, Caitlin was awarded the school’s highest honor, the King Medal. With the love and support of her grandparents, the help of Erick Mack, board member and St. Andrew’s School Trustee, and the financial support from her Star Kids Scholarship Program sponsor and the support of St. Andrew’s School, Caitlin’s life has turned around. Caitlin will begin the Nursing Program at Salve Regina University this fall. One of Caitlin’s goals is to join Doctors Without Boarders and help those in the most need. We wish her the best!
